What are the most common games we use in our team building events?

Icebreaker games

Sometimes it’s best just to dip a toe into the water before making a big splash, so we focus on a few icebreaker games to get everyone couple - including shake outs, name games, and sensory-engaging games.

Communication skills

Communication can be both verbal and non-verbal, so we want to help your team see that. Our communication games include practicing how to communicate with each other with words and without words.

Building trust and encouragement

The goals of these events is not for people to have the best joke, but instead to work together to create a safe environment where everyone trusts that the choice their make will be supported. All of our games focus on this aspect.

How would we plan inclusive team bonding activities for your team?

  • Once your team representative completes a pre-event survey that tells us all about the group, the background of the event, and any extra important details that you’d like to include, we wil create a custom curriculum for the group.

  • For this event, we need the space to be open and chairs available / off to the site. If your space doesn’t have this, that’s totally fine, we just need o know ahead of time to adjust the run of show.

  • Once the event and AV details are squared away, we are all set! Show up with a positive attitude and be ready to have fun, but even if you’re not in the mood, don’t worry, your mood will change in no time.

FAQs

  • The most common games we use in our team building events are improvisational games that engage all of your senses. These games include movement around the room, eye contact and team engagement, word play and idea generation, and most importantly, a massive amount of support. We understand that teams get together infrequently and we take the responsibility of making this a memorable and impactful event very seriously.

  • Every event is different based on your team’s goals, but you can expect a group warm up, games that promote supporting one another’s choices, and smaller team breakouts for heightened engagement.

  • All this event requires is an open space and chairs. We recommend audio equipment (microphone and amplification system) for groups larger than 50 people.

  • The ideal space is open with nothing except chairs for every person. If that is not possible, that's totally no problem! We can organize the curriculum to optimize your space.

  • Totally fine! For smaller groups we don't need anything, and for larger groups it's a nice to have so that everyone can hear us, but not required.

  • We create our curriculums to build and layer participation and support, allowing even the most shy person in the room to feel comfortable particpating. That said, the event still works with people taking some plays off and sitting on the sideline while others participate.

  • Locally available in NJ, NY, CT, MA, PA, DC, MD, FL, IL, MI, TX, CO, CA, WA, OR.

  • Yes - we can travel to any location.

  • If your event is more than 2 hours outside of the designated Laugh. Hub, there will be a travel and accommodation fee associated with your event.
